From 330 Pounds to 245.3 Pounds, April 30th Weight Loss Progress Update

So the last update I posted about my weight loss journey I actually had been about a pound lighter than what the results showed today. That update I was 244.1 pounds and today I am 245.3 pounds. I don't check my weight every single day but honestly, lately, I have not had the time to go for walks at all unless I'm going shopping which is about once a week maybe.

The goal I guess would be to get to at least 230 pounds pretty soon but right now I do feel alot better than being stuck at 290 pounds like I was during the holidays. During that time I thought my weight had plateaued but that wasn't the case at all. I was still going to make lots of progress and it was only because I had the motivation to keep going and here I am.

So what I have been eating lately?, crap, junk food. At this time I'm trying to cheap out on eating since I honestly can't afford anything healthy and I have made Mac and Cheese for the past two days and I'm getting no exercise at all so I guess I'm not surprised that I gained over a pound recently. There will be a time very soon in the next few weeks that I'll be able to start walking again and maybe even start eating healthier as well.

As of today though I have lost about 85 pounds and that is the most weight I have ever lost before. I think the last time I lost a lot of weight I went from about just over 200 pounds and went down to 170 pounds. I guess my progress today makes that progress I had made back then laughable.

I will also admit I am the kind of person that likes to go in a direct, straight line and accomplish one thing at a time and this diet has been all over the place. I have been through a lot of ups and downs and these struggles make it quite difficult to stay motivated to eat only one meal a day. I guess when someone tries to lose over 100 pounds or more, there are going to be days that you want to give up, or at least take a long break.

During this whole weight loss journey of mine I also always think about the ones that I have known for many years that have been very obese and have not been able to lose a single pound. No offense to them I just think about that fact quite a bit. So anyways, I don't know when I'm going to start trying harder to lose weight again so it might be awhile before my next update on this blog, but you can subscribe for updates by clicking on the widgets on the right side of this blog. From 330 Pounds to 244 Pounds, About 10ish Months Into My Weight Loss Journey

So, two days ago I checked my weight again and it was only 244.1 pounds according to my scale. I am so close to getting down to 230 pounds which is what I would say is the "satisfactory weight level" for me but I know in the past at the age of 26 or 27 when I was at this weight I still wasn't satisfied and I also struggled so much with trying to get back to the weight I was at before.

Now that I have figured out how to lose the weight again, it's obviously much easier to achieve my weight loss goals all thanks to OMAD (One Meal A Day). In a few days I may try to provide daily posts on my weight loss progress but for now it's going to be every few days instead. My eating habits lately have not been the best also and even when I try to only eat one meal a day, I will be eating chips at around 12pm, and I might have the odd cold beer maybe.

I have cut my drinking down quite a bit though, it was about 5 or 6 in a day before and now it's down to around 2 or 4 every odd day maybe?. It might even get down to zero pretty soon here because of affordability. I only drink to cope and I honestly can't find anything else that beats the feeling I get from a drink. I have tried numerous medications but nothing really ever worked.

Like I said in my previous post from the other day, my weight loss is only slower right now because I'm not getting out and walking every day like I used to. But I'm still making pretty good progress. I guess as long as I eat lightly until I have my main 1 meal in the evening I will still be losing weight. I also still have my days where I only eat that one meal and nothing before hand.

It's hard to say if I'd be able to achieve what I have achieved so far to this day if I was working full time the whole time up until now ever since I started this diet. I understand some people out there want to try this diet but find it hard to follow since they work 40 hours a week. If you keep trying and figure out a routine, you could make it work.

Like one idea would be eating at work and fasting at night when your home. Or if you work afternoons just fast until you start working in the afternoon and have a meal before you start. Also never forget to get some exercise during the day and it doesn't need to be the gym or going for a 30 minute run. Walking is all you need to do, that's good enough.

Anyways, thanks for reading if you made it this far, until my next post, ciao.

246 Pounds As Of Today, Taking It Slow For Now...

OMG!, I love making these posts!. The more I make those people that said things to me about being so fat makes me motivated more than ever before... and here I am after losing 84 pounds and now all I can say is... look who's still fat and I've lost all this weight?.

Anyways, I've scaled things down a bit, though I am still making progress with this weight loss. Sometimes the slower you go with weight loss is better. Benefits from doing this could include less saggy skin after losing alot of weight, and it's obviously much healthier to lose weight more slowly since you are eating more than some people who are starving themselves on a daily basis.

But I have different reasons. Anyways, I will eventually provide daily updates on my own weight loss journey, but for now it's going to be a slow and gradual. I only created this blog to give hope to those who are currently overweight and are losing hope. I was there before and I can totally relate to anyone who is struggling to lose even 1 pound a week.

All I can say is stay strong and do not give up.

"As long as you do not give up you will succeed".

From 330 Pounds To 250 Pounds, 10 Months In Weight Loss Progress

So, the top left picture of the image below is obviously where I started, which was some where around the end of July last year in 2025. I started a diet called One Meal A Day, which can also be called OMAD. I remember losing the first 30 pounds pretty easily in the first few months and by mid November of 2025 I was around 300 pounds.

My weight loss progress between 2025/2026

Near the end of December I had alot of things I had to do and it kind of took a toll on me mentally so I wasn't really paying attention to my eating habits though I was kind of trying to at least have two meals a day, and at this time I was around 290 pounds and by the time I had recovered from what I was going through, in the middle of January I was down to about 275 pounds.

I was actually surprised that I was still losing weight even though I wasn't really trying during that time, so I kept pushing forward with this diet. I will admit this diet is not for everyone, and working full time it would be quite difficult to follow this One Meal A Day diet.

For so many years I was 330ish pounds and always working at least 4-5 days per week and I had to eat regularly during this time so it was very difficult to stick to any sort of diet. I had tried many other diets and even eating salad regularly, but nothing really worked until I started this diet and I guess the thing that really helped me was having that spare time to focus on intermittent fasting and also getting my daily walks in almost every day.

I think the combination of walking and eating a lot less every single day is the main reason this diet is working. I do once in awhile have a bigger meal to just reward myself and I might have the odd beer but I always kept going from the beginning (July 2025 until now). I think you could achieve this diet while working by maybe having a couple meals at work then fasting at night, that eating schedule could technically work for some people. But personally I don't think that kind of eating schedule would work for me.

I have tried weighing myself daily and I also at one point had two scales just to compare both the results. I also always make sure that my scale is sitting perfectly flat on the ground. I may aim for 160 pounds if I am not satisfied with 170 pounds, we will see. If your thinking of trying this diet out yourself there is alot of information online about it, it's just a Google search away and there is also alot of success stories on social media which I have checked out myself quite often myself for inspiration to keep moving forward.

Anyways, I will try to keep this blog up to date on my progress on losing weight. Thanks for reading if you made it this far.
